Prof. Abdulrasheed Na’Allah, Vice Chancellor, Kwara State University (KWASU) has applauded the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), noting that there is progress in its activities judged by this year’s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results.
The VC, who gave the commendation on the sideline of the inauguration of the KWASU Alumni Association, with Mallam Aliyu Abdulkadir as the new President, stated that JAMB acted smart in getting more people that commited examination fraud.
According tp Prof. Na’Allah, those who sat for the examination ten years ago, for example, were far below those who are writing the exam today, saying that present day challenges are greater.
He stated that the young people of Nigeria are becoming more of an expert in global technology, adding that the socioeconomic crisis in the nation is not always towards integrity but towards beating the system.
