The Anchor University, Lagos (AUL) has matriculated about one hundred and thirty-four students, charging them to embrace the fear of God.
The ceremony was the third matriculation of the institution and Investiture of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Joseph Afolayan which was held at the university’s main auditorium at the Ayobo area of Lagos state.
In his speech, Prof. Afolayan, thanked the Institution’s Proprietor, the general superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry and Chancellor of AUL, Pastor W.F. Kumuyi, for his support and passion for the university.
“I sincerely express my profound gratitude to our Proprietor on the special occasion of my investiture. I specially appreciate the concern and supports we have enjoyed from the GS of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry and Chancellor of Anchor University, Pastor W.F. Kumuyi,” the VC stated.
The chairman, board of trustees, Pastor P.O. Oluwi, who was also present at the ceremony, in his goodwill message, reiterated the determination of the Proprietor to support every effort that will ensure the vision of the Proprietor for the university is achieved.
Anchor University, Lagos (AUL) kicked off academic activities on the 1st of February 2017 and has had three matriculations in a row. The maiden convocation of the institution is expected to take place by 2020.
