Anchor University, Lagos (AUL), has appointed the former Dean of Faculty of Science and Science Education of the institution, Prof. Johnson Oladele Fatokun, as its pioneer Deputy Vice Chancellor (DVC).
The development was announced by the Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Afolayan, during the institution’s 15th Statotory Senate meeting held on Wednesday 25th of September, 2019.
The new appointed Deputy Vice Chancellor is a Professor of Computational Mathematics and Numerical Analysis and joined the private university at its take-off in 2017 from the Federal University, Dutsin-Ma, where he was also the pioneer Deputy Vice Chancellor/Vice-President.
According to findings, he was also the Chairman of many committees including Staff and Students’ Disciplinary Committees among others.
At the Faculty level, Prof. Ernest Ikenna Atuanya is the new Dean of Faculty of Science and Science Education while Prof. Lawal Adebayo replaces Associate Professor.
