University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) and Kwara State University (KWASU) in their normal manner have shunned the ongoing strike declared by Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) on Monday.
According to the Nigerian Tribune, normal academic activities were seen going on at the UNILORIN and KWASU as lecturers were in classrooms attending to their students.
The students of UNILORIN who were just resuming back to school after a long vacation appealed to the lecturers not to join the ASUU strike.
Some of the members of KWASU ASUU said that the institution had not been part of ASUU strike before now.
