Bamitale Omole Assumes EKSU Pro-Chancellor, Council Chairman

Prof. Bamitale Omole, a professor of International Relations and an Educational Administrator, has been appointed as the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of the Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti.

A statement signed by Ajibade Olubunmi, the institution’s Director of Information and Corporate Affairs confirmed the appointment.

Prof. Bamitale Omole is a former Vice Chairman of the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, from 2011 to 2016.

He received a BA (History) and M.Sc (International Relations) from the University of Ife which is now called Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) and an MPhil and PhD in Political Science/International Relations from the University of Bordeaux, France.

Prof. Omole holds a postgraduate diploma in International Law and Organization for Development from the Institute of Social Studies, Hague, Netherlands. He also holds a diploma in French Language from CAVILAM, Vichy, France.

He holds a certificate in Fundraising Fundamentals, certificate in University Research Management and a certificate in Executive Leadership for University Management.
