Delegates from the University of Bayreuth paid a courtesy visit to the University of Lagos (UNILAG), yesterday. The team visited the institution to discuss collaborative measures with the Institute of Africa and Diaspora Studies, UNILAG.
The three-man team was received by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Oluwatoyin Ogundipe and other principal staff of the institution at the VC’s Conference room of the Senate building.
Present at the meeting was; Deputy Vice Chancellor (Development Services), Prof. Folashade T. Ogunsola; Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academics and Research), Prof. Oluwole B. Familoni; Director, Institute of Africa and Diaspora Studies (IADS), Prof. Muyiwa A. Falaiye.
Others are; Director, Research and Innovation Office, Prof. Wellington A. Oyibo; Deputy Director, IADS, Dr. Obi Iwuagwu; Deputy Director, Office of International Relations, Partnership and Propects (IRPP), Dr. Ismail Ibrahim.
The team was later treated to a tour of the view of the University Lagoon Front, Faculty of Arts, Arthur Mbanefor Digital Library, Scholar’s Hostel and the Creative Arts Gallery.
