The Bingham University College of Medicine and Health Sciences in Abuja on Tuesday inducted thirty-one graduate medical doctors of medicine and surgery from the university.

The Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. Williams Qurix, in his brief address at the Physician’s Oath taking ceremony urged the new medical doctors to abide by the rules and regulations guiding the medical profession.
The Vice Chancellor charged them to be change agents in the health sector.

“Today’s induction is the fifth in Bingham University, the first set of 19 doctors was in March 2014, the second set of 45 doctors was in 2015 and we are witnessing the induction of 31 doctors today bringing the total to 155 doctors produced by the institution.

“We hope in no distant future our students’ quota will increase so that our output will correspondingly increase,” the VC stated.

Stressing that medical doctors are trained to save lives and of crucial importance to humanity, he enjoined them never to compromise but remember all the time the oath and respect it.

The Provost of the Medical College, Prof. Alhassan Yakubu, commended the support of the Chief Medical Director of the University Teaching Hospital both in cash and through many other gestures.
