Cultism: University of Calabar Expels 300L Student

The management of the University of Calabar (UNICAL) has suspended Adeye Mathias Unimke, a 300-level student of the university over allegation of involvement in secret cult related activities.
The suspension was contained in a statement signed by the University Registrar, Moses Abang.

Prof. Zana Akpagu, Vice Chancellor of the university, approved the immediate suspension of student who was in the Department of Education Administration and Planning from all academic activities in the university till further notice.

The university management has warned that the student should away from the campus except or unless responding to invitation by the Institution’s Students’ Disciplinary Committee due to investigation.

The VC of the university had reiterated at various times that there is no room for cultism or other social vices in the institution.
