Students of the Imo State University (IMSU), Owerri, were thrown into excitement when singer and award-winning actor David Jones David stormed their campus to perform at the MTN-led Anti Substance Abuse Program (ASAP) tour of Imo state.
Report revealed that the students of the institution flooded the Star Hall at IMSU to attend the three-hour intensive program centered on the perils of substance abuse and its devastating effects.
Following the dramatic and outstanding performances by the Riveting group and dance skits from school students and ASAP dancers, DJD took to the stage to give the students mind blowing performances.
As part of the ASAP activities, experts and professionals in drug-related sectors such as psychiatrists, psychologists and some officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) trained the students on the avoidance of substance and drug abuse.
