The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) office in Cross River state has been relocated to Akwa Ibom state by the examination board.

According to Daily Post News, the relocation of the office was as a result of the directive from the Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Is’haq Oloyede. It was reported that the registrar was disappointed when he visited the office as parts of the premises were taken over by heap of impounded vehicles since the office shares the same premises with the Cross River Transport Regulatory Agency (CTRA).

“The usage of CTRA to park impounded vehicles may have irked the registrar as there was no space for workers and others including parents to have access to the offices. This was the reason he asked the office to be relocated with an immediate effect.
“He gave the order that since the state government has not responded to their appeals for a conducive office, we should move the calabar office to Akwa Ibom,” a worker stated.
