The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) says the board has remitted N5 billion to the Federal Government after the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the examination board revealed this on Monday in its weekly bulletin by its Head of Media and Information, Dr. Fabian Benjamin.
Dr. Fabian Benjamin later told newsmen that the Federal Government returned N2 billion to the examination board to enhance operations.
However, some UTME candidates have alleged they are facing difficulties accessing their results, which was released on Saturday.
Report revealed that out of the over 1.8 million candidates who registered for the examination, 1,792,719 had their results released by the examination board.
