The management of Koladaisi University in Ibadan has said it reduced tuition fees and offers more of scholarships to indigent students of the institution to make higher education accessible and affordable.

According to reports, the reduction of tuition fees for students was as a result of an opinion poll carried out during the admission outreaches held across the country which suggested reduction in tuition fees.

Prof. Kolade Ayorinde, Vice Chancellor of the institution who stated this at a press conference in Ibadan, said that the core vision of the university is to produce employers rather than job seekers.

“The founder of the institution has approved the reduction of the fees by all categories of students in the current session by at least N50,000 for all 143 students of the institution,” the VC stated.

Also, the VC noted that the university was liaising with the National Universities Commission (NUC) to seek approval of more undergraduate programs for national development.
