The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), has named a newly built multi-purpose hall located in Lokaja after Mrs. Oludolapo Ahile, the Kogi state NYSC Coordinator, who died on the 17th of May, 2019.

Brig. Gen. Shuaibu Ibrahim, NYSC Director General, while on a condolence visit to the state office of the NYSC on Tesday in Lokoja, stated that the gesture was to honour Ahile for her good works and contribution to the scheme.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the multi-purpose hall was initiated and constructed by the late Coordinator.

Report revealed that Ahile died from injuries she sustained in a road accident that occurred along Lafia-Akwanga on the 16th of May, 2019.

“Ahile deserves all the honour we can give her. She was a humble, hardworking, diligent, loyal, friendly and God fearing woman.

“The good testimonies about late Ahile prompted my decision to personally visit the state to condole with the corps members, the NYSC staff, the state government and the good people of Kogi state,” the DG stated.

Ibrahim urged the people to emulate Ahile’s lifestyle, pointing out that death could come at any time.
