The Commissioner for Tertiary and Science Education, Prof. Theresa Obiekezie and Provost, Nwafor Orizu College of Education Nsugbe (COREN), Dr. Ifeyinwa Osegbo have assured the newly admitted students of Governor Willie Obiano’s continued support.
The duo gave the assurance during the 38th National Certificate of Education (NCE) cum 22nd Bachelor of Education (B.ED) matriculation ceremony at Nsugbe, Anambra.
Obiekezie who represented Governor Obiano assured them of adequate security in Anambra state, saying that the governor would do anything to make the students comfortable in the ivory tower.
“His Excellency is happy that you are admitted to this citadel of learning. Feel at home because Anambra state is the safest state for everything good you are doing.
“Governor Obiano would do everything to make sure you are comfortable, the pereimeter fencing and intra college roads construction are ongoing. He will provide other things as the need arise,” he stated.
Also, the provost, in her address said that the college was part of the Nigerian society faced with lack of some basic amenities but assured the students of the Governor’s continued support.
“Governor Willie Obiano is there for us, attending to state and college matters. With his support, the college will continue to shine above all other institutions,” she stated.
