Prof. Sunday Ogunduyile, Vice Chancellor, Onda State University of Science and Technology (OSUSTECH), Okitipupa, Ondo state, stated that the National Universities Commission (NUC) has formally approved nine additional programs of the university.
According to the VC, the newly accredited courses include; Biology, Computer Science, Geophysics, Industrial Chemistry, Mathematics, Microbiology, Physics, Zoology and Fisheries.
While addressing newsmen in Akure, Ondo state capital, on Monday, Ogunduyile explained that the NUC granted accreditation to the programs in January 2019, following a visit by the commission’s accreditation team to the university between October and November last year.
The Vice Chancellor also said that the university had been enlisted in the Tertiary Education Trust Fund and the institution was collaborating with four foreign organizations for further transformation.
