Brigadier-General Suleiman Kazaure, Director General, National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), has warned and advised corps members to resist any form of financial inducement from politicians during the coming 2019 general elections.
According to a statement signed by the Director, Press and Public Relations of NYSC, Adenike Adeyemi, Kazaure gave the warning while addressing the 2018 Batch C stream 11 corps members deployed to Kastina State.
“The DG warned that any corps member that violates the electoral law would be dealt with accordingly,” the statement noted.
The DG assured the corps members that adequate security measures have been put in place to ensure their security before, during and after the general elections.
“Try and remain neutral and be non-partisan as electoral officers. Abide by the electoral laws and avoid financial inducements from politicians,” the DG stated.
