The Executive Governor of Osun state, Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola has restated his loyal commitment to the service of the people of Osun for the overall growth and development of the state.
The Governor stated that the commitment was in line with his promise to the people of Osun and the unflinching support he received during the last governorship election in the state.
Oyetola made this known in Oshogbo while playing host to the Medical and Dental Consultants of Nigeria (MDCN) of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ossogbo chapter, in his office over the weekend.
The Governor told the visiting delegation of medical and dental consultants that his administration, despite the obvious paucity of funds, has prioritized the welfare of the people and infrastructural development across the nooks and crannies of the state, citing the present massive revitalization of the health institutions as one of the several milestones of the present administration.
Oyetola, who used the occasion to assure workers in the employment of the state government of strong commitment of their welfare, maintained that half salary had since become a thing of the past, stressing that having been familiar with their activities and predicaments as Chief of staff of the immediate past administration, his government would not leave any stone unturned at ensuring that the state-owned health institution is given every needed support.
In his response, chairman of MDCN, LAUTECH Teaching Hospital chapter, Dr. Rasaq Akindele, congratulated the governor on his victory and his subsequent assumption of duty.
