Professor Labode Popoola, the Vice-Chancellor of the Osun state University confirmed the approval of an additional eighteen undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the institution by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
The Vice-Chancellor also stated that the University currently runs forty-seven undergraduate programs and thirteen postgraduate programs which are fully accredited by the NUC. He gave out the information while commenting on the development of the institution.
Philosophy, Arabic Language & Literature, Islamic Studies, Theatre Arts, Yoruba, Tourism studies, Food Science & Technology, Building, Estate Management, Accounting and Finance are the newly approved undergraduate programs.
The others are post graduate programs which are; Business Administration (PhD), Business Administration (MBA), Civil Engineering (PhD), Urban and Regional Planning (MSC), Applied Mathematics (MSC), Mathematics (PhD) and Physics (MSC / PhD).
