Sixty-two Students Bag First Class in Osun State University

Prof. Labode Popoola, Vice Chancellor, Osun State University has said that 62 out of the 1,647 graduating students bagged first class degree.
According to Daily Trust, the VC of the higher institution made this made while speaking with men of the press in Oshogbo concerning the 7th convocation ceremony of the university.
He made mention that the Visitor to the university, Rauf Aregbesola, Executive Governor of Osun state would be awarded honorary Doctor of Science.
He said that the university would honor an expert in the oil industry in person of Dr. Olayiwola Francis Fatona.
The VC also said the university has doubled its efforts toward producing entrepreneurial graduates capable of impacting on their environment and competing with their colleagues in the global world.
“We have relentlessly stood by our pledge through deployment of success-driven techniques that have continued to yield positive results as evident in our numerous achievements in the last one year, Popoola said.
