Two Nigerian Students Break Record at University of Cape Coast

Dr. Lotachi Onyemenam and Omotola Obisesan have been celebrated for their outstanding academic performance. They are Nigerian students who just completed their degree programs at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana as reported by Vanguard.
Omotola graduated with a first class honors in Computer Science at the age of 18, while Lotachi breaks the University’s record as she wins 16 out of 21 awards in the faculty of Medicine.
Ambassador Olufemi Abikoye, Nigerian High Commissioner to Ghana who attended the University’s 51st convocation praised the two students for their excellent performances.
“Nigerians should not always be in the news for the wrong thing. When they do well abroad, we should celebrate them.
“I was at the graduation ceremony and I must say that we are proud of them. They have done Nigeria proud here in Ghana and we must all be proud of their academic achievements,” Ambassador Olufemi added.
