UI: Third Induction for new academic staff

The University of Ibadan has charged its newly employed staff to contribute to the growth and development of a unique national institution which will clock 70 by November this year.

The vice-chancellor of the institution, Prof. Idowu Olayinka stated this at the third induction ceremony organized by the Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETeL)  for the newly employed academic staff of the university from 2015 to 2018. The ceremony was held at the PIFA Hall, shasha, Ibadan.

While congratulating the inductees, the VC said the institution would continue to be driven by one great vision which is to be a world class institution for academic excellence geared towards meeting societal needs.

He said the program was meant to introduce them to the workings of the institution and how they could contribute effectively to the growth of the university.

The director of CETeL, Prof. Akin Odebunmi emphasized the value of inductions in thr centre as one of its focal emphases and also thanked the VC for his support and express approval.
