UniAbuja Lecturer In Alleged Sex-For-Marks Scandal

A lecturer of the University of Abuja (UniAbuja) is currently under investigation for demanding for sex to award marks to one of his female students.

The alleged scandal was blown out after the lecturer, who is a dean, was caught in a hotel in Gwarimpa area of Abuja, where he had gone to have an affair with the student.

A source told newsmen that the student, who was being pressed by the faculty dean for sexual relationship, had reported the matter to the institution’s security department as well as the police.

According to the victim, the dean wouldn’t allow her pass a particular course he was taking unless she agreed to have sex with him.

Findings by schoolworld reveals that the security agents asked the female student to play along, which led to the dean booking a hotel room in the highbrow Gwarimpa quarters to have sex with the student.

“The dean was caught pants down in the hotel room trying to have sex with the student. He was arrested and taken to the police station and made to give a statement of the occurence,” a source stated.

The acting Information Officer of the institution, Hajiya Maryam Mohammed, who confirmed the incident, made it known that the lecturer in question had been queried.
