The University of Calabar Malabites and the University of Agriculture Makurdi Tillers are ready for the final leg of the 2018 Higher Institution Football League (HiFL) which comes up on the 3rd of November 2018, at the Agege Stadium in Lagos.
According to Pulse, the UAM Tillers defeated the OAU Giants by 3-0 winning on a 6-5 aggregate score line at the University of Agriculture Makurdi Stadium while the UNICAL Malabites defeated UNILORIN Warriors by 2-0 home win in Calabar.
Mr. Sola Fijabi, Director, PACE Sports and Entertainment Marketing Limited commented on the matches, he said “we now have our four finalists who will play the finals to determine the first, second and third place winners. We appreciate all the schools that participated in the 2018 HIFL because they are all winners.”
“They have all demonstrated good sportsmanship as they displayed fantastic football artistry. We also thank our sponsors for their support, looking forward to the next season,” he added.
The HIFL is organized by Pace Sports and Entertainment Marketing in partnership with the Nigerian Universities Games Association (NUGA).
