The Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Prof. Oluwatoyin Ogundipe has stated that the institution is fully ready to host the 26th edition of the Nigerian Universities Games Association (NUGA) Games this year and gave the confirmation that the tournament will hold later this year.
Prof. Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, while speaking at the NUGA games pre-seminar which was held at the university’s Senate chamber during the week stated that the institution has four cardinal objectives for the games for a successful hosting of the tournament.
“The objectives are to expose the athletes that will be participating from different institutions, to ensure that the institution gets accolades for hosting the games and lastly to emerge as the overall winner of the 26th edition of the NUGA games.
