The Vice Chancellor of the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID), Prof. Ibrahim Njodi has congratulated Prof. Suleiman Bogoro, on his re-instatement as the Executive Secretary of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund).
In a statement signed by the Director, Public Affairs, TETFUND, Dr. Jacob Alade, in Abuja on Sunday, stated that the VC congratulated the TETFUND boss during a courtesy visit to TETFUND.
The VC said that the institution recognized Bogoro’s leadership qualities noting that his unprecedented recall to serve at the Fund by President Muhammadu Buhari, was a confirmation of the confidence Nigerians had in his administrative and managerial acumen.
The TETFUND boss in his response thanked the VC for the visit, stressing that the large delegation to TETFUND not only made him emotional, but also evoked a feeling of nostalgia remembering his days as a student at the university.
He said that his return to the Fund was with a renewed vigour to serve the country and assured the VC of his continued support to the university within the ambit of the law, and also urged the university to maintain its excellent performance in the utilization of intervention funds.
Bogoro commended the VC and his management team for their promptness in accessing their yearly allocations, a feat which he noted many beneficiary institutions were struggling to achieve.
