A 300 level undergraduate student of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) has cried out for help over a statement released by the management of the university which has affected many students of the institution.
She expressed, through her twitter handle, that she does not know what to do after paying school fees, buying books, attending classes and writing examinations only to be asked to withdraw and the start the same level all over again due to late registration.
“Thinking about my life right now, this is what UNIPORT has reduced myself and so many other students to. Paying school fees, buying of books, attending classes everyday and writing exams at the end only to be told to withdraw and repeat the same level all over,” she stated.
She made it known that the school is telling them to withdraw ecause they register their courses late due to the ineffective portal, adding that they were asked to do the registration manually.
