University of Jos Inducts 390 Graduates Into Teaching Profession

Three hundred and ninety graduates of the Faculty of Education, University of Jos (UNIJOS) were yesterday inducted into the teaching profession at a ceremony affirmed by the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), which is the 6th in the faculty.

In his address, Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. Sebastain Maimako, said that the graduates have gone through rigorous training to become professional teachers, and have acquired expertise and discipline required as a teacher.

In his remarks, the Registrar of TRCN, Prof. Josiah Olusegun Ajiboye, stated that the quality of education in any society depended largely on the quality of teachers.
