The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), has announced Imo State-born Mba Mary Amarachi of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences as the institution’s 48th overall best graduating student.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Amarachi explained how perseverance and hard work helped her to pursue a course of study of her dream which earned her success.
She was unveiled at the 48th convocation ceremony of the institution as the overall best graduating student.
According to Amarachi who is married, with an impressive Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.44, in Biochemistry, she however returned to her alma mater, after completing her compulsory one year national youth service, to pursue her utmost dream and eventually secured admission to study Pharmacy.
She advised students to be serious with their studies and emulate her as well by refusing to accept failure, but rather to rise and keep pushing forth whenever they made mistakes or fail in their attempt to achieve success.
