The Founder and Chancellor of Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD), Aare Afe Babalola (SAN) has urged the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to release results of the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

Babalola, who gave the urge in a reaction made available to newsmen, commended the Registrar of the examination board, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede for taking on the gauntlet to fight these fraudsters in order to sanitize the system of admission into Nigerian universities, saying that most private universities in the country including ABUAD are disturbed at the continued delay in the release of the results.

“I sympathize with parents and children, particularly the innocent ones, whose results are being withheld because of the misdeeds of others,” he stated.

“It is on this note that I will like to appeal to JAMB to do the best it could to fast-track its ongoing commendable Biometric Verification exercise and release the results of its recently conducted examinations so that when we are combating the fraudsters, the innocent parents and children do not suffer,” Babalola added.
