Joint Admission and Examination Board (JAMB) has said it has not released any of the results relating to the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
The examination board said this was because it was still screening the results of candidates due to certain issues surrounding the examination.
JAMB said that, so far, over 1.2 million candidates have written the 2019 UTME.
The board’s Head of Information, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, made this known to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Bwari.
Benjamin stated that as of April 13, over 1.2 million candidates across the entire country have successfully written the UTME examination which was scheduled to end on the 17th of April, 2019.
He added that the process of the examination has so far been successful, adding that the board was addressing some of the challenges that came up during the exercise.
He, however, said that “candidates should expect their results very soon.”
