The Warri Alumni branch of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) has elected a new Chairman for the association in person of Dr. Isaac Ejebe.
The election, which recently took place during the alumni association’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), saw Dr. Ejebe succeeding Festus Orilade after four-year tenure.
The National Vice President (South) of the University of Benin Alumni Association (UBAA), Chief Osayimen Ikilo Esq represented the National President, Engineer Ikenna Obiasor at the annual meeting.
Past Presidents Worldwide of the association, Osa Ikponmwosa, Dr. Clement Oghene, and Provost of the College of Education, Prof. (Mrs.) Mary Edema were also present at the annual meeting of the association.
The new chairman of the warri branch is a native of Oleh in Isoko South Local Council of Delta state. He had his primary education at the Isoko Central School before procceding to the Federal Government College, Warri.
Ejebe gained admission into the University of Benin to study Optometry in 1984.
