A total number of thirty-four graduates which include thirty-one Masters Graduates and three PhD Graduates have emerged from the 9mobile Telecommunications Engineering Postgraduate Program (9TEPP).
The Acting Managing Director of 9mobile, Stephane Beuvelet, disclosed this while hosting the Vice Chancellor of the Ahmadu Bello Uniersity (ABU) Zaria, Prof. Ibrahim Garba and his team from the university during a visit to 9mobile corporate head office in Lagos.
According to the VC, the team had come to discuss further collaboration with the telecommunication service provider on how the 9TEPP can be taken to the next level.
“We are happy to have partnered with your university on the 9TEPP program. What gives us satisfaction is not just improving the quality of your students but also lecturers as well,” Beuvelet stated.
Responding, the VC of ABU commended 9mobile for supporting the 9TEPP academic program which he described as “an important field of human endeavour.
“This is a large resource, a lot of value for the industry,” the VC stated.
