Tolulope Adesuwa Etomi is a Nigerian Actress and movie producer who has starred in over one hundred movies since 2014 when she came into limelight. She starred in her first feature movie, ‘Knocking on Heaven’s Door’ which was produced and directed by Emem Isong. She won her the Best Actress in a Drama Award at the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) for her role in the 2015 romantic drama film ‘Falling’.
Adesuwa Etomi is married to a Nigerian Music Artist, Bankole Wellington, popularly known as Banky W.
Adesua Etomi Early Life and Education
Adesuwa, as she is fondly called by her fans, was born in Owerri, Imo State on the 22nd of February 1986. Her father is a Soldier of Esan descent and her mother is a Civil Engineer of Yoruba descent.
Adesuwa, who is the youngest of three siblings, attended Corona School in Victoria Island, Lagos, where she joined the drama club at the tender age of seven. Thereafter, she attended Queen’s College, Yaba, Lagos, before moving to the United Kingdom at the age of thirteen and later obtained a diploma in ‘Physical Theatre, Musical Theatre and Performing Arts’ from City College Coventry in 2004.
After completing the courses in 2016 with distinctions, she later studied drama and performance at the University of Wolverhampton and graduated with first-class honours.

Adesuwa Etomi’s movie credits include, The Arbitration, The Wedding Party and Falling which earned her the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award for Best Actress in A Drama. She has starred in other notable films such as A Soldiers Story, Out of Luck, and Couple of Days.
She played the role of ‘Shiela’ in the fourth and fifth seasons of Shuga, a television soap opera on HIV/AIDS prevention.
The beautiful actress stars as Amaka Obiora, an undercover police officer, in Yemisi Wada’s crime series ‘LasGidi Cops’, which debuted in June 2016 on TV.

Tolulope Adesuwa Etomi got engaged to Bankole Wellington (Banky W) in February 2017 and had their traditional wedding on the 19th of November 2017. The lovely couple had their Court Wedding and White Wedding on the 20th and 25TH of November of the same year.
