Dambatta Englisg and Literary Association (DELA), according to Daily Trust News, has organized orientation for secondary school students to prepare them ahead of the forthcoming Unified Tertiary and Matriculation Examination (UTME) as a measure to help them come out in flying colors.
According to Daily Trust, the chairman of Dambatta/Makoda Consultative Forum, Alhaji Sani Adamu said that the training was to get the students ready to tackle the examination questions which were mostly IT oriented.
“Not all students have this opportunity; therefore, you have to consider yourself as lucky and privileged. It will be very important if you will put all what you have learned into practice when the time comes because this will give you the opportunity to pass your examination with ease,” he advised the students.
One of the participants, Umma Umar said that the training had made her more acquainted with the orientation exercise and promised to put what she her learnt into practice.
