NOUN Student Wins Four-Inch Heel Race Competition in Lagos

Precious Chukwuma, 400-L Mass Communication student of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) has emerged the winner of the 2nd edition of the four-inch heel race held at the National Stadium, Surulere in Lagos.
Out of the 80 contestants, Precious Chukwuma defeated 79 contestants at the one-day 100 meters dash race.
Precious was greatly challenged in the final leg of the race by Annetta Adebusuyi and Hassan Musa who emerged second and third position respectively.
According to the Guardian, the four-inch race is a special event aimed at creating excitement and entertainment and confidence among young women in Nigeria. The event which is the first of its kind in the whole of Africa is geared towards giving young women a platform to showcase their talent and also to support the dreams of the young ones.
The event was packaged by DAK Marketing Services Limited (DMS Limited), a marketing communications company based in Lagos.
