President Muhammad Buhari has appointed Bassey Abasi as the new Chief Medical Director of the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital, Uyo in Akwa Ibom state.
This was made known according to a press statement by the Ministry of Health. The appointment is to last four years (a term).
The director of media and publicity of the ministry, Boade Akinola, stated that the letter of appointment signed by the Secretary to the Government of the federation, Boss Mustapha, urged the appointee to bring his wealth of experience to bear in order to upgrade service delivery in the health sector.
