Christopher University To Introduce 2 New Courses, 13 For Accreditation

The management of Christopher University, a private tertiary institution located in Mowe, Ogun state has concluded plans to introduce two new courses to its academic curriculum.

The two new courses are; Theatre Art and Media and Information Science. The introduction of the courses is based on the university’s bid to meet students’ demand, promote creativity and information technology.

According to the university, Christopher University was in 2015 granted approval by the National Universities Commission (NUC) to commence Bachelor degree programs and academic activities took off in 2016.

The two new courses, in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences have been approved by the Senate. The Vice Chancellor of the university also noted that the institution is ready to receive officials of NUC for resource verification of the courses in March 2019.
According to Prof. Friday Ndubuisi, VC of the university, Christopher University currently runs thirteen courses.

Ndubuisi said the two courses are billed to take off during the 2019/2020 academic session and has been approved by the Senate and would be certified by NUC after its resource verification in March 2019.
