Four Professors Contest For ABUTH’s Chief Medical Director

Four Professors at the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria are battling to become the new Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH).

The outgoing Chief Medical Director of the teaching hospital, Prof. Lawal Khalid, confirmed this to journalists over the weekend that the selection interview took place on Thursday, April 4, 2019.

Those who were selected for the interview are Prof. Hamidu Ahmed, Deputy Provost of the ABU School of Medical Sciences; Prof. Bakari Adamu Girei, former Dean of the Faculty of Medicine; Prof. Mohammed Sani Shehu and Prof. Isma’il Dahiru.

Reports revealed that the names of top three contenders will be forwarded to President Muhammad Buhari for final selection.
