The Kwara State University (KWASU) has inaugurated a newly built Library which was named after President Muhammadu Buhari at the main campus of the institution.

According to the President’s Personal Assistant on Media, Bashir Ahmad on Sunday, the Federal Government project was sponsored through the Tertiaty Education Trust Fund (TETFund) Scheme.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), TETFund Act had repealed the Education Tax Act Cap. E4, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004 and Education Tax Fund Act No. 17, 2003.

The Act establishes the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) charged with the responsibility for imposing, managing and disbursing the tax to public tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
