Three students of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Ekeh Joedicta, Adeyeye Adeniyi and Ogbechi Chinaedum have emerged the best graduating students for the 2017/2018 convocation of the institution.
The students from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Department of Insurance and Department of Business Administration respectively emerged the best with Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.96 each.
They were honored by the institution with a plaque while they got a cheque of N100,000 each. They also got another plaque from the Alumni Association of the university where a total of 3,643 students graduated from the Faculties of Basic Medical Sciences, Clinical Sciences, Dental Sciences, Engineering, Law, Management Sciences, Pharmacy and DLI.
Revealing the secret of his success, twenty-two year old Adeyeye said he was determined right from his first day in UNILAG to leave an imprint of his name before graduating from the university. That he said was his motivation.
He told newsmen that he was able to achieve the feat because he quickly discovered himself, his strength and what works for him.
